For many years now, I have written out my goals for the new year. I don't refer to them as 'resolutions', I refer to them as goals since they are actually chores or activities or accomplishments I definitely want to do. My list is long; it seems to grow longer each year! But it is full of all the wonderful things I still want to do in my life. Of course, a lot of them revolve around writing and still a few around painting. And then there is the 'self-improvement' category and also the house-projects, etc.
It seems that resolutions are made to be broken. It is almost a standing joke with people and many will talk about resolutions that they made at the beginning of the year but by February they are long forgotten and now they can laugh about it. Of course, this is when there is a surge of sales where people buy treadmills and other workout machines that soon become a place where they throw their clothes when getting ready for bed.

DJ enjoys sharing her knowledge, experience, and life lessons learned while creating fine art and writing her books and your audience is sure to come away entertained, enlightened, and with something of value from her honest, candid, and often humorous presentations. She can tailor her presentation for your specific grade when presenting to students or for adults at your special event.
To schedule DJ for a speaking engagement at your school or event, please contact DJ directly for further information and her availability.
Elementary and middle grade school presentations: flat fee of $150 for day (3 classes maximum)

The majority of the artwork, unless otherwise noted, comes unframed. If you want a painting framed, please contact DJ for information and pricing.
All of DJ's miniatures 3x5" and smaller are not framed. Miniature display easels for these paintings are available for $3 each. (These easels can also be used with DJ's 5x7" paintings.)
All of DJ's paintings can be shipped to anywhere in the United States. (Shipping and handling charges are additional.)

If you feel a strong connection to one of her pieces and absolutely must have it, DJ's lay-away plan offers you a convenient way to purchase DJ's art by spreading payments over 3 or 6 months.
Simply contact DJ for more information and to receive a Lay-Away Agreement form explaining her 3-month and 6-month lay-away plans.
